PA: Le Monstre (2012)

Bonjour à tous!
Voici PA, un petit groupe pop rock français qui va peut-être vous plaire. Anciennement connu sous le nom de Panik Angelik, le groupe à changé de nom récemment suite à une reformation du groupe. Désormais plus que trois, les jeunes du groupe font une pop rock au sonorité de Two Doors Cinema Club, mais avec des chants aux airs Indochinien.
Vous pourrez d'ici peu écouter toutes les chansons de leur nouvel EP, Le Monstre, qui devrais sortirai dans les jours prochains. Après l'avoir moi même écouté, je peux vous dire que ça vaut le détour. En attendant, le groupe à mis à disposition leur chanson Le Monstre, sous un clip simple mais sympatoche.

Hi a tutti!
Here comes PA, a french young pop rock band which you might like. Previously most known as Panik Angelik, the band has changed his name since it has reorganized its composition. From now on, they have made a new songs which sound like Two Door Cinema Club mixed with the french band Indochine.
All these song will be soon listenable in an EP called Le Monstre which should be released soon in the few days coming. I listened to it, I suggest you to do so! Now you can wait for it with the clip of their song Le Monstre, highly simply realized but still fun.

Je viens de voir ça aujourd'hui sur le facebook de Caravan Palace, je partage ;)
Il semblerai donc qu'ils ne jouent cette chanson que en live. Bah c'est dommage, on aimerai bien l'écouter à la maison aussi!!!
Checkez l'arrivée le nouvel album, il arrive le 5 Mars.

The Ting Tings est de retour!/has come back!: Sounds From Nowheresville (13th March 2012)

The Ting Tings sont de retour! Après nous avoir fait danser sur Shut Up And Let Me Go ou bien encore sur Great DJ le groupe revient avec un nouvel album, Sounds From Nowheresville. Il nous foudra cependant attendre le 13 Mars avant de pouvoir décortiquer tout. Pour nous faire patienter le groupe a déjà mit deux nouvelles chanson à l'écoute, soit Hang It Up et Soul Killing.
Avec ces deux titres le duo nous laisse deviner un album à l'image du premier. Rock, Funky, et épuré. Vous pouvez écouter Hang It Up sur le lecteur plus bas, mais pour ce qui est de Soul Killing, cliquez => The Ting Tings.

The Rookies - Hip-Hop 3.0 - EP (2012)

Je ne vous ai pas trop habitué au rap, moi même n'étant pas trop fan de cette musique. Cependant, je vous apporte là un EP de valeur que je défend et qui en plus sonne bien.
À 100% auto produit et français, voici la première raison pour laquelle je poste cet EP. De plus, pour une fois j'ai enfin trouvé un rap qui, comme dit le chanteur, "ne fais pas mal à la tête."
Bien funky et en même temps un peu lounge (très tendance le lounge), avec des rythmes bien pensés, au final on se prête bien au jeu.
Je vous laisse voir ça par vous même.

Hip-Hop 3.0 - EP

I think I never posted rap music in this blog, as I'm not confortable with this music. However, this time I received an EP with values I like and which sounds well.

Entierly self-producted and french, this is the first reason why I share this EP. In addition, this rap doesn't give me a headache. 

Funky, a bit lounge, with good rhythms, it's easy listenable.

Caravan Palace: Clash EP (2011)

Vous aimez l'électro mais aimeriez que ce soit un peu plus dansant? Vous êtes fan de jazz manouch mais vous n'osez pas passez quelques chansons en soirée? Et bien mesdames messieurs, voici un groupe pour vous ! Amateur d'électro, vous ne serez pas dessus par Caravan Palace. Pour ceux qui ne savent pas ce qu'est le jazz manouch, la meilleur indication que je puisse vous donner c'est Django Reinhardt, quand au style d'électro qu'exploite Caravan Palace, je dirai Daft Punk ou Justice.

Si je vous dis electro-jazz vous allez me répondre Saint-Germais, Julien Lourau ou même Llorca, et vous avez raison. Mais aucun d'entre eux ne m'a fait autant danser que Caravan Palace. Leur différence? Le jazz manouch. En effet Caravan Palace, est un des rares groupes à avoir eu le cran de mélanger ce style avec de l'électro. Et finalement quand on y pense, c'est une combinaison qui se marie très bien. Le jazz manouch étant le plus souvent des chansons aux tempo rapide, et aux rythmiques répétitives avec des accords basiques; ça colle parfaitement avec l'électro.

Voilà donc Caravane Palace de retour avec leur nouvel EP, Clash. Après un très bon premier album en 2008 et leur single Suzy en 2009, nous l'attendions avec impatience ! Sortie le 3 Octobre dernier, Clash est plus excitant qu'un kilo de sucre mélangé à 3L de Redbull que l'on donnerait à un enfant hyperactif de 9 ans. Pour donner la couleur.

Alors allez écouter le nouvel EP de Caravane Palace et régalez vous les oreilles.

You like electro music but you would like it to be more dancing? You love jazz manouch but you feel ashamed to put some during parties? Well ladies and gentlemen, here is a band for you! Caravan Palace. For the ones who don't know what's jazz manouch, the best example I can give you is Django Reinhardt. About the kind of electro they play I would say Daft Punk or Justice.

If I say jazz electro, you'll answere Saint Germais, Julien Lourau or even Llorca. And you would be right. However, no one of them made me dance as much as Caravan Palace. What do they have more than the others? The jazz manouch. In fact, Caravan Palace, is one of the rare band which mix jazz manouch with electro, and which does it well. It is not the most common combination, but if we think, these two styles match up very well, as the jazz manouch use quite fast rhythm and basic chords.

So here is Caravan Palace's coming back with this new EP. After an amazing first album released in 2008 and their famous single Suzy in 2009, we were waiting for this EP!! Released last 3rd of October, Clash is more exciting  than a kilo of sugar mixed with 3L of Redbull the hole given to an 9 years old hyperactive boy. Just to situate the EP ;)
